Started at P + P: In June 2020, at home, in the midst of a global pandemic and uprising, feeling profoundly grateful to be here. I’ve worn many hats in my career, including (but not limited to!) pre-kindergarten teacher, project coordinator, development assistant, registrar, server, and nanny. Most recently, I worked at Literacy Minnesota coordinating recruitment for their Summer Reads program, which places 70+ AmeriCorps VISTA members at schools and community sites across the state.
In My Role: As Development Manager, I’m the one primarily responsible for coordinating P+P’s foundation, corporate, and government grant-related activities. I work with my incredible coworkers on the External Relations team to collect information from across P+P to build cohesive grant narratives that tell the organization’s story to outside funders.
Geeks out over: Em dashes, Twin Peaks, coffee, poetry, 80s pop music, electoral politics.
When I’m not at P+P: I’m likely running, reading, eating, browsing Twitter, or sleeping. Not necessarily in that order.
