Started at P + P: I started in August 2021 after graduating from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. My hope for going to business school was to gain skills to accomplish my long-term goal of using my career to help systemically disadvantaged people gain a better quality of life. I was so excited to join Prepare + Prosper right out of college because I knew that its values would align with my own. Being able to work with an organization I can be proud of means that every day at work is a step closer to fulfilling my lifelong goal.
In My Role: I am the primary person responsible for FAIR enrollments. I also work on the FAIR team to help strengthen our relationships with FAIR participants and distribution partners, coordinate events + programs, and seek better ways to serve the community’s needs through FAIR.
Geeks out over: I geek out over learning about our complex, beautiful, interconnected world. From systems in our society and the way that people connect to each other to the animals, plants, and natural environment and humankind’s relationship to it all. There is always so much more to learn. It is not only about taking in the information, but also applying that knowledge to address the very difficult problems we are facing today so we might have a better tomorrow.
When I’m not at P+P: Outside of work I enjoy exploring the cities, trying new foods, spending quality time with friends, and spoiling my cat!
